History

Matsudo-Shinden Station opened on 21 April 1955 as part of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway's Shin-Keisei Line in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. The platform layout is two side platforms serving two tracks. A second station building on the eastbound (track 2) side opened on 1 December 2007, after which both sides were directly accessible. The aging pedestrian overbridge that connected the platforms inside the paid area was closed for removal on 29 February 2024. On 1 April 2025 Shin-Keisei was absorbed into Keisei Electric Railway, and the station became a stop on the renamed Keisei Matsudo Line, with its number changed from SL03 to KS86.

Notes

Both neighbouring stops are exceptionally close: the platform at Minoridai sits about 600 m away and that at Kamihongō roughly 700 m, and Minoridai's station building is visible from the Matsudo-Shinden platforms.
