History

Kozunomori Station opened on 1 April 1994 in Narita, Chiba, as part of a realignment that moved the Keisei Main Line tracks south of their previous course. It remains the newest station on the Keisei Main Line. Two opposed side platforms sit in a cutting, connected to an overhead station building whose upper floors were leased as offices; it housed AirAsia Japan headquarters until December 2012 and now includes a Spring Japan head office on the third floor. Kozunomori was added to the Kanto-no-Eki Hyakusen list in 1997 for its glass-clad art-gallery-style platforms, was made a Limited Express stop on 10 December 2006, and received Keisei numbering KS39 on 17 July 2010.
