History
Arakawa-yūenchimae Station (SA 12) is a Toden Arakawa Line tram stop in Nishi-Ogu, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo. It opened on 1 April 1913 as Arakawa-yūenmae with the Ōji Electric Tramway's first section, was renamed Ogu-rokuchōme on 1 September 1939, became part of the Tokyo City Tramway on 1 February 1942 (joining the Toden), was renamed Nishi-Ogu-Nanachōme on 15 September 1965 when the local address system was reorganised, and was renamed back to its current Arakawa-yūenchimae name in 1983.
