History

Tatsumi Station opened on 8 June 1988 in Tatsumi, Kōtō, Tokyo, as part of the Eidan (Teito Rapid Transit Authority) Yūrakuchō Line. It is an underground station with a single island platform serving two tracks, designed around a woodland motif inspired by the nearby Tatsumi-no-Mori Greenway Park, with forest-themed panels around the ticket gates and platform name boards. Operation transferred to Tokyo Metro on 1 April 2004 when Eidan was privatised. IC card use through PASMO began on 18 March 2007, and platform-edge doors entered service on 23 November 2013. The station carries the line number Y-23.

Notes

Five 26-metre pneumatic caissons were sunk beneath the adjacent Tatsumi-no-Mori park to build the New-Kiba end of the station through soft reclaimed ground.
