History
Kasai-Rinkai Park Station opened on 1 December 1988 on JR East's Keiyō Line in Edogawa, Tokyo. The elevated station consists of an island platform serving two tracks, flanked by outer passing tracks that let non-stop services overtake stopping trains. Only local Keiyō Line services and through Musashino Line trains to and from Fuchū-Hommachi call here. Station numbering was introduced in 2016, with Kasai-Rinkai Park assigned JE06. The station takes its name from the adjacent Kasai Rinkai Park, a municipal seaside park that includes the Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel, the Tokyo Sea Life Park aquarium and a bird sanctuary.
