History
Ōtsuka-Teikyō-Daigaku Station opened on 10 January 2000 with the Tachikawa-Kita to Tama-Center extension of the Tama Toshi Monorail Line, becoming one of the new monorail's intermediate elevated stops. Although the name pairs the local district Ōtsuka with the adjacent Teikyō University, the campus lies roughly a kilometre from the platforms and most students reach it by bus from other stations. Station numbering was introduced across the line in February 2018, with this stop assigned TT03. The single-storey concourse beneath the side platforms follows the line's standardised raised-station design.

Notes
Despite the university's name appearing on the signboard, the Teikyō campus is about a 15-minute walk away, and most students arrive on direct buses from other stations.
