History

Ariake Station opened on 1 November 1995 as the eastern terminus of the Yurikamome automated transit line (provisional name during construction: Kokusai-Tenjijō). When the line was extended to Toyosu on 27 March 2006, Ariake became a through-station and the commuter-pass office was moved to Toyosu. A single-track depot lead branches off here toward the Ariake Rolling Stock Centre. The station carries number U-12.

Notes

Ariake is the designated transfer station with Kokusai-Tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line, which is within walking distance. The station consists of two elevated island platforms serving three tracks, with the inner two tracks (2 and 3) sharing a single line used for night stabling. Beneath the elevated platforms is a large bus plaza served by Toei buses, Tokyo BRT, and limousine services to Haneda and Narita airports.
