History
Midorigaoka Station is located in Miki, Hyōgo Prefecture, on the Kobe Electric Railway (Shintetsu) Ao Line. It opened on 8 March 1950 as Hirono Yakyūjō-mae Station ("Hirono Baseball Field-mae"), serving as a halt on the section between Oshibedani and what is now Hirono Golf Course-mae. The station was renamed Midorigaoka on 15 June 1958. It became unstaffed in April 2000, and the on-platform shop closed in March 2012. The station has a single ground-level side platform on one track and is the only non-passing station between Nishi-Suzurandai and Shijimi, with platform length accommodating five-car trains.

Notes
Although the address is officially in Kobe's Nishi-ku, the bulk of nearby Hyogo Prefectural Nojigiku Special Support School sits in Miki and uses this Miki-city station as its nearest stop.
