History
Rokugōdote Station traces back to 1 February 1901, when three small Keihin Electric Railway stops opened between Rokugōbashi and Ōmori. Those three were consolidated into Rokugōzutsumi Station on 1 October 1906 when the line moved onto a dedicated right of way; the name was later changed to Rokugōdote. The station was destroyed by fire during the Keihin air raids of 15 April 1945 and rebuilt with opposed side platforms astride the old embankment road. It was elevated between 1971 and 1972 during reconstruction of the parallel Rokugōgawa rail bridge, was relocated slightly westward toward Keikyū Kawasaki, and gained elevators in 2003. Platform-edge doors entered service on 21 February 2026 (KK19).
