History
Tsurumi-Ichiba Station is in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on the Keikyū Main Line, 13.8 km from the line's terminus at Shinagawa in Tokyo. It opened on 24 December 1905 as Ichiba Station and was renamed Tsurumi-Ichiba in April 1927. A new station building was completed in April 1984 when the platforms were lengthened to accommodate eight-car trains. Keikyū introduced systematic numbering on 21 October 2010, assigning the station the code KK28. The station has two opposed side platforms with a station building elevated above the tracks.

Notes
The 1984 rebuild lifted the station building above the platforms and tracks, which were extended at the same time so eight-car trains could call here for the first time.
