History
Koyama Station is in Tottori City on the San'in Main Line, 234.5 km from Kyoto, operated by JR West. It opened on 28 April 1907 alongside Hōgi as part of the Imperial Railway Agency's westward extension and was placed on the San'in Main Line by the 1909 line-naming reform. Japanese National Railways operated the station from 1949 until privatisation on 1 April 1987, when it passed to JR West. The station has two opposed ground-level side platforms connected by a footbridge to the station building, and is now unstaffed.
