History
Tsukimino Station opened on 15 October 1976 on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line in the city of Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture. Operated by the Tokyu Corporation, it lies 30.3 km from the line's Shibuya terminus and consists of two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge. From 11 October 2013, the down (Chūō-rinkan-bound) platform hosted an experimental low-cost platform edge door system developed by The Nippon Signal Co., Ltd., installed for evaluation along the full 200-metre platform length and using 10-metre wire-rope screens that rise and lower.

Notes
The experimental Nippon Signal platform edge barrier, installed in October 2013 over the entire 200-metre down platform, uses rising and lowering wire-rope screens rather than the rigid sliding doors common at other Tokyu stations.
