History
Mizunami Station opened on 21 December 1902 on the Chūō Main Line in the city of Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture. It became part of JR Central on 1 April 1987 at the privatisation of Japanese National Railways. The station has one ground-level side platform and one ground-level island platform connected by a footbridge, with a Midori-no-Madoguchi staffed ticket office on site. Mizunami is 346.8 kilometres from the official starting point of the line at Tokyo and 50.1 kilometres from Nagoya.
