History
Minami-Juku Station opened on 25 June 1921 on what is now Meitetsu's Takehana Line, in the city of Hashima, Gifu Prefecture. The original station building stood on the east side of the tracks but was demolished in the late Shōwa era. The station was unstaffed from 24 March 1972. As part of the Transpass conversion on 14 December 2007, separate small buildings housing automatic ticket machines and fare gates were added on each platform, and on 11 February 2011 the manaca IC card was introduced. A vehicle turnaround space east of the station opened on 1 April 2023. The station, numbered TH03, has two opposed side platforms allowing trains to pass.

Notes
Because the Kasamatsu-side ticket office had to fit on the existing platform, the building has no separate paid and unpaid areas — passengers buy a ticket and walk through the same automatic gate to board.
