History
Mejiroyamashita Station opened on 1 July 1971 with the second-phase southward extension of the Shōnan Monorail Enoshima Line, located in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, 6.2 km from the northern terminus at Ōfuna. It is an elevated single-island, two-track station where the Shōnan-Enoshima end of the platform meets the ground at a tunnel mouth. The station is unstaffed and has no escalators or elevators — access is by stairs only. PASMO compatibility was added on 1 April 2018 via simple readers.

Notes
Mejiroyamashita is the least-used station on the entire Shōnan Monorail and the lowest-ridership rail station in Fujisawa — passengers without an IC card deposit their tickets in a literal "ticket box" on the platform rather than through a turnstile.
