History

Iidaoka Station was officially opened on 19 May 1926 on the Izuhakone Railway's Daiyūzan Line, in what is now Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, after a station-establishment notice was filed with the Railway Minister; service appears to have run since the line opening on 15 October 1925. The station consists of a single side platform with a rain shelter and a shed housing automatic ticket machines on the north side of the track. Although unstaffed for most of the day, staff are present in the mornings and evenings. The platform building includes an automatic ticket machine, a ticket-voucher dispenser, and a simple IC-card gate. The station is located 4.3 kilometres from the line's terminus at Odawara Station, and carries station number ID06.
