History

Nakamizuno Station opened on 1988-01-31 with the inauguration of the third-sector Aichi Loop Railway between Shin-Toyota and Kōzōji. The two-platform elevated station was originally unstaffed; staffing began on 1998-04-01. The Setoshi-Kōzōji segment surrounding the station was doubled on 2004-10-03, and TOICA acceptance began on 2019-03-02. The eastbound platform handles only four-car-length stops, so eight-car through-services from the Chūō Line use door-cutting to skip cars that overhang the platform.

Notes

Eastbound platforms handle only four cars, so eight-car through services from the Chūō Line lock the doors on cars that overhang.
