History
Chayagasaka Station opened on 13 December 2003 with the Sakae-machi–Nagoyadaigaku section that closed the loop of the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijō Line. The station, in Chikusa Ward, has two opposed side platforms and station number M15; its assigned line accent colour is yellow. It is administered by the northern district office of the Meijō Line at Sakae. Platform-edge doors were brought into service in two stages in November 2020, with the inbound platform commissioned on 16 November and the outbound platform on 23 November.

Notes
Although the local elementary school takes its name from the neighbouring Sunadabashi district, Chayagasaka is the alternative closest stop and many pupils enter the network here.
