History

Mizuho Kuyakusho Station opened on 30 March 1994 on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Sakura-dōri Line, in Mizuho-ku, Nagoya. The name reflects its role as the closest stop to the Mizuho Ward Office, with one exit connecting directly to the building. Because the Sakura-dōri Line does not cross other subway lines in this area, the underground island platform sits only about 12 metres below the surface — relatively shallow for the network — and accommodates eight-car trains. Platform-edge doors were brought into service on 18 June 2011.

Notes

The station's in-system accent colour is sky-blue, assigned to distinguish stops on the Sakura-dōri Line's otherwise uniform livery.
