History
Ariyoshi Station is an island-platform stop on the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, 4.1 km from the line's terminus at Nishi-Kuwana (station number H05). It opened on 1914-04-05 as a Hokusei Railway station, became part of Hokusei Electric Railway on 1934-06-27, and after wartime and postwar consolidations joined the Kintetsu network on 1965-04-01. The Hokusei Line was spun off to the third-sector Sangi Railway on 2003-04-01. The station was destaffed in 1979 and remained austere until a new building opened on 2006-12-27, equipped with ticket and ticket-gate machines remotely supervised from Tōin Station.

Notes
On 2004-04-17 the station switched its passing arrangement from right-hand to left-hand running, joining the rest of the Hokusei Line in left-side passing operation.
