History
Yunoki Station (Shizuoka Railway number S05) opened in 1908 as Magarikane Station in Miyamae-chō, Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, on the Shizuoka–Shimizu Line. It was relocated on 31 March 1930 and renamed Gokoku-Jinja-Mae in 1942; the present name Yunoki was adopted at an unspecified later date, with "Gokoku-Jinja-Mae" retained as a sub-name ("Yunoki (Gokoku-Jinja-Mae)"). Automatic ticket gates were installed on 1 September 1992 and platform anti-fall barriers were added on 27 February 2008.

Notes
Yunoki's platforms were originally island-style but were rebuilt as two separated side platforms during a renewal due to age; during the rebuild a temporary platform was set up on the Shin-Shizuoka side of the level crossing. Both side platforms are now north of their respective tracks, with the up-direction platform sandwiched between the two running lines.
