History
Tatsumigaoka Station opened on 10 July 1955, built by Meitetsu in step with a new residential development on the south-east edge of Nagoya. A second station building on the east side was added in 1987, and the platforms were lengthened from six to eight cars at the same time. The west side was rebuilt in April 1996, the Tranpass system arrived on 14 July 2006, and platform-widening and accessibility works finished in October 2006. The manaca IC card began on 11 February 2011, Tranpass ended on 29 February 2012, and the station became wholly unstaffed on 1 July 2023.

Notes
The station's name 巽ケ丘 keeps the older 1978 JIS form of the character 巽 even after most other Japanese stations updated to the 1997 JIS form — Meitetsu's own timetables now show it with the small ヶ instead.
