History
Tsukaguchi Station on the JR Fukuchiyama Line (JR Takarazuka Line) is in the city of Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, operated by JR West. It is located 2.5 kilometres from the line's starting point at Amagasaki and 10.2 kilometres from Osaka. The station consists of one ground-level island platform and one side platform connected by a footbridge. With the 1987 breakup of Japanese National Railways the station passed to JR West, and it is not to be confused with the nearby Tsukaguchi Station on the Hankyu Itami Line. In fiscal 2016 the station saw an average of around 9,986 boardings per day, reflecting its role as a feeder for Amagasaki and central Osaka commuters.
