History
Kurakuenguchi Station traces its origins to the Koshikiiwa Signal Station, established on 1 October 1924 when the Hankyu Koyo Line opened. It was upgraded to a full station and renamed Kurakuenguchi on 8 March 1925, taking its name from the nearby Kurakuen residential area and former onsen district. To coincide with the station's opening, Hankyu inaugurated its first directly operated bus service from the station forecourt, marking the start of the company's bus operations. Station numbering was introduced on 21 December 2013. The station has two opposing side platforms with a passing loop, and is in the city of Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
