History

Furukawabashi Station opened on 15 April 1910 on the Keihan Main Line in what is now Kadoma, Osaka Prefecture. It is operated by Keihan Electric Railway and sits 10.8 km from the line’s southern terminus at Yodoyabashi Station. The stop has two elevated side platforms with the station building tucked underneath the tracks, and the surrounding district hosts Kadoma City Hall and the Kadoma Citizens’ Culture Center Lumiere Hall, anchoring the city’s civic core.
