History

Noe-Uchindai Station opened on 6 April 1977 when the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line was extended from Miyakojima to Moriguchi. Sited in Miyakojima-ku, Osaka, its name combines two neighbouring districts: Noe in Jōtō-ku to the south and Uchindai in Miyakojima-ku to the north. The station became part of Osaka Metro at the privatisation of the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau on 1 April 2018. From the opening of the JR Osaka Higashi Line on 16 March 2019, the adjacent JR-Noe Station became a transfer point. Platform-edge doors entered service on 28 August 2025. The station has a single island platform serving two tracks underground.
