History
Dekijima Station opened on 20 December 1930 on the Denpō Line (later renamed the Nishi-Ōsaka Line, then the Hanshin Namba Line) between Daimotsu and Fuku in what is now Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka. The station building was rebuilt on 26 September 1998 as part of the elevated-track project running between Daimotsu and Fuku, and station number HS 49 was introduced on 1 April 2014. From the 20 March 2012 timetable change, all rapid express trains pass without stopping. The current configuration is two opposing elevated side platforms, with the concourse on the second floor and the platforms on the third floor.
