History
Fuku Station opened on 20 January 1924 with the Hanshin Electric Railway's then-new Denpō Line (now the Hanshin Namba Line) between Daimotsu and Denpō. A station-building rebuild and platform extension were completed in March 2009 to accommodate the through-running Kintetsu six-car trains brought in with the line's connection to Kintetsu Namba. Station number HS 48 was introduced on 1 April 2014. Elevation works began with a temporary up-direction platform on 1 October 2022 and a temporary down-direction track changeover on 30 September 2023; the down platform is scheduled to be raised onto the new viaduct in FY2026 and the up platform in FY2029.
