History
Haginodai Station opened on 23 April 1980 on the Kintetsu Ikoma Line as a new infill halt between Higashiyama and Minami-Ikoma, primarily serving the adjacent Haginodai residential development on the eastern hillside above the line. A passing loop was installed on 22 September 1985, and the Higashiyama-Haginodai stretch was double-tracked on 17 March 1993. PiTaPa acceptance began on 1 April 2007. The station was made fully unstaffed at some point after October 2021. It now consists of a single island platform serving two tracks, with double track on the Ōji side and single track on the Ikoma side, allowing trains to cross.
