History
Matsudachō Station (HN55) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Nishinari-ku, Osaka, on a dedicated track separated from the road. It opened on 1 December 1911 with the original Hankai Electric Tramway's Ebisu-chō – Ichinochō (present-day Ōkoji) section. Operator changes followed industry consolidation: Nankai Railway absorbed Hankai in 1915, Kinki Nippon Railway took over in 1944, Nankai Electric Railway re-acquired the line in 1947, and the present second-generation Hankai Tramway received it in December 1980. The stop's name preserves the old neighbourhood name 松田町.

Notes
Matsudachō was a 1911 original stop on Japan's first electric tramway (Hankai), and its name is one of the few traces left of the now-defunct neighbourhood name 松田町.
