History

Trade Center-mae Station opened on 18 December 1997 on the Osaka Port Transport System Techno Port Line (now Osaka Metro Nankō Port Town Line, station number P10). The station sits in Suminoe-ku, Osaka, on a fully glass-walled elevated island platform serving two tracks. On 1 July 2005 management was transferred to the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau, and on 1 April 2018 the station became part of Osaka Metro following the bureau's corporatisation. It serves the Osaka Prefectural Government Sakishima Building (formerly the Osaka World Trade Center Cosmo Tower), from which the station takes its name.

Notes

Until 19 January 2025 this was the westernmost station on the Osaka Metro network; the opening of Yumeshima that day reassigned the title.
