History
Nagahara Station, on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line in Hirano-ku, Osaka, opened on 27 November 1980 when the line was extended from Tennōji to Yaominami. It is an underground station with a single island platform and two tracks. Originally part of the Osaka Municipal Subway, it was transferred to the privatised Osaka Metro on 1 April 2018, and platform-edge doors were brought into service on 10 March 2026. The station carries the line code T35 and is the second-least-used stop on the Tanimachi Line.

Notes
Construction near the station unearthed the Nagahara burial-mound complex, and the line was routed to skirt the archaeological remains.
