History
Nunose Station opened on 18 April 1922 on the line that would become the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line, in what is today the city of Matsubara, Osaka Prefecture. Lying 8.3 rail kilometres from the line's starting point at Ōsaka Abenobashi, the station is operated by the private Kintetsu Railway. The layout consists of two ground-level island platforms connected by an underground passage. Nunose Shrine is one of the landmarks adjacent to the station.
