History
Takidani Station opened on 29 March 1898 with the extension of the Kōya Railway from Sayama to Nagano (now Kawachi-Nagano). Corporate succession brought it to the Kōya Tozan Railway in 1907, the Osaka Kōya Railway in 1915, the Nankai Railway in 1922, Kintetsu in the 1944 wartime merger, and finally Nankai Electric Railway with the 1947 line transfer. Station numbering NK67 was assigned in April 2012, and on 1 April 2013 the station became unstaffed. It is a ground-level station with two opposed side platforms connected by an overpass and an elevator-equipped overhead bridge, with an accessible restroom on platform 1.
