History
Okadaura Station opened on 1 November 1915 as a stop on the privately-built Nankai Main Line, which runs south from Namba in Osaka toward Wakayama. The station sits 38.8 kilometres south of the Namba terminus and serves the Nishi-Shindachi area of Sennan city in Osaka Prefecture. It consists of two opposed side platforms linked by a level crossing, and has been assigned the station number NK35 under Nankai's station-numbering scheme.
