History
Nagataki Station opened on 16 June 1930 on what is now the JR West Hanwa Line, 36.3 kilometres south of the line's terminus at Tennōji. With the 1 April 1987 breakup of Japanese National Railways, the station passed to the West Japan Railway Company. Station numbering was introduced in March 2018, with Nagataki assigned the number JR-R46. The unstaffed station consists of one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge.
