History
Minami-kuyakusho-mae opened on 1 March 1982, more than four decades after the Hijiyama Line that runs through it began service in 1944. It is the only Hijiyama Line stop opened without a corresponding line extension, and remained the line's newest stop until 3 August 2025, when the Ekimae-ohashi route added the new Matsukawa-cho stop. Station number H7 was assigned in October 1996 and changed to H04 on 3 August 2025. The platforms are arranged in a staggered north-south layout on a combined-track street alignment, with the up-side towards Inari-machi on the north and the down-side towards Minami-machi 6-chome on the south; both are long enough to handle articulated cars.
