History
Saeki-kuyakusho-mae Station opened on 27 March 1987, a petitioned-by-Hiroshima-City station built between Hiroden-itsukaichi and Rakurakuen the same day that Hiroden-itsukaichi was relocated 250 metres east — its construction cost paid by the city. Saeki Ward had been newly established two years earlier in 1985 when Itsukaichi-cho, Saeki District, was incorporated into Hiroshima City. The station is a ground-level 2-platform/2-track stop with the platforms staggered across a level crossing in the middle; from the line's origin the up-side platform towards Hiroden-nishi-hiroshima is on the near side and the down-side platform towards Hiroden-miyajima-guchi sits beyond the crossing. The up-platform retains a section of high-floor platform at its Hiroden-nishi-hiroshima end, a vestige of the dedicated 'railway-type' high-floor cars that once ran through-services on the Miyajima Line. The station carries number M28.

Notes
Saeki-kuyakusho-mae is one of the youngest Miyajima Line stations and one of the few Hiroden stations whose construction cost was paid by the city government rather than the operator; it opened on the same day in 1987 that Hiroden-Itsukaichi was relocated 250 metres east to abut JR's Itsukaichi station.
