History
Zōda Station opened on 21 March 1926 as a stop on what is now the Kōtoku Line. With the privatisation of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987 the station passed to JR Shikoku. Zōda became unstaffed on 1 September 2010, and a new station building was constructed alongside the original structure, opening for use on 10 February 2017. Located in the city of Sanuki, Kagawa Prefecture, the station consists of two side platforms linked by a footbridge and carries number T17 on the line, which lies 21.3 km from Takamatsu.
