History

Kogome-dōri tram stop is a Tosaden Kōtsū Gomen Line station in Kogome, Nankoku, Kōchi. It opened on 27 January 1911 as part of the Tosa Electric Railway's first phase of the Gomen Line, when the line was extended from Ōtsu to Gomen-Nakamachi-dōri. On 1 October 2014, Tosaden Kōtsū was formed by the merger of Tosa Electric Railway, Kōchi-Ken Kōtsū and Tosaden Dream Service, and the station became part of the new operator's network.

Notes

Kogome-dōri's two platforms are unequal — the Harimaya-bashi-bound side has a proper raised safety island, while the Gomen-machi-bound side is just a painted white line on the parallel highway shoulder, the most basic of "platforms" still in use on the Gomen Line.
