桟橋通四丁目

History

Sanbashidōri-Yonchōme opened on 2 May 1904 on the Tosa Electric Railway as Nakazutsumi Station (中堤停留場), at the same time as the rest of the Ume-no-Tsuji – Sanbashi segment of the (then) Ushioe Line. The stop was renamed to its present name on 1 February 1938. It transferred to Tosaden Kōtsū on 1 October 2014 when Tosa Electric Railway merged with Kōchi Kenkōtsū and Tosaden Dream Service.

Notes

The stop sits just north of the Sanbashi car barn. Most outbound runs from the depot start service from Sanbashidōri-Yonchōme rather than the depot itself; only the few that continue on to Sanbashidōri-Gochōme run through the depot stop as deadheads.
