History

Haga-machi Kōgyō-danchi Kanri-sentā-mae Station (no. 17) is an Utsunomiya Light Rail Utsunomiya-Haga LRT Line tram stop in Haga-dai, Haga, Haga District, Tochigi, built west of the "Kanri-sentā-mae" intersection on Tochigi Prefectural Route 69 (Utsunomiya-Mōka). It is the 17th stop from the Utsunomiya Station East origin, positioned as the "town gateway" for Haga and integrated with the Haga Industrial Park Transit Centre to coordinate the LRT with demand-responsive town-wide transit. The provisional name during planning was "Kanri-sentā-mae". Livedo Corporation purchased the naming rights and added the sub-name "Livedo Corporation Tochigi-Haga-kōjō-mae". The stop's name was decided on 23 April 2021, and it opened on 26 August 2023. On 31 March 2026 all scheduled bus routes from this stop were abolished when the JR Bus Kanto Utsunomiya depot closed. The stop has two opposed side platforms.

Notes

The Haga Industrial Park Transit Centre — built at a cost of about 150 million yen — was positioned as a sub-municipal terminal for Haga Town, with 2 scheduled-bus bays, a bay for the "Fureai Taxi Hibari" demand-responsive on-demand taxi, a taxi bay, 40 bicycle spaces and 75 park-and-ride spaces; after JR Bus Kanto's Utsunomiya depot closed in March 2026 the on-demand taxi (which requires advance booking) became the only out-of-LRT transit operating from the centre.
