History
Futamatashimmachi Station is a passenger railway station in the city of Ichikawa, Chiba, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) on the Keiyō Line. The station is located 22.6 km from the line's western terminus at Tokyo and lies on the south side of the triangular Keiyō-Musashino junction; through services on the Musashino Line therefore do not stop here. The station opened on 1 December 1988 as part of the Keiyō Line's later phases. It has a single elevated island platform serving two tracks, and a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office. Station numbering JE10 was introduced in 2016. The neighbouring industrial area near the National Route 357 interchange keeps daily traffic low.

Notes
Futamatashimmachi sits on the south side of the Keiyō–Musashino delta junction, which means Musashino Line through services bypass the station entirely.
