History
Nishi-Tengachaya Station, on the Nankai Koya Line's Shiomibashi branch in Nishinari-ku, Osaka, opened on 18 September 1915 between Tsumori and Abeno (now Kishinosato-Tamade) on what was then the Osaka Kōya Railway. The station passed to Nankai Railway by merger on 6 September 1922, became a Kinki Nippon Railway station on 1 June 1944 under wartime consolidation, and was transferred to the present Nankai Electric Railway on 1 June 1947 when the line was sold back. It has two opposed side platforms whose gates are independent, so passengers cannot cross between platforms after entering — and the station is remotely managed and unstaffed.

Notes
Passengers cannot transfer between platforms inside the gates — each platform has its own independent entrance.
