History
Yoshiminosato opened on 1 October 1915 as a new intermediate station on the Nankai Railway between Sano (now Izumi-Sano) and Tarui. Wartime amalgamation transferred it to Kintetsu on 1 June 1944, and a postwar route transfer placed it under Nankai Electric Railway on 1 June 1947. Station code NK34 was introduced on 1 April 2012, and the station was de-staffed on 1 October of the same year. The original wooden depot was replaced by a new station building on 3 December 2022; the small replacement is equipped only with a ticket vending machine and a boarding-certificate dispenser inside a single-window unstaffed concourse.

Notes
The old goods yard beside the station once handled outbound shipments of locally grown onions and textiles; the cleared site is now used as a permanent-way maintenance base.
