History
Keyakidai Station was opened by JR Kyushu on 10 March 1990 as an infill stop on the existing Kagoshima Main Line in Kiyama, Saga. Two opposed side platforms serve two tracks, linked by an elevated building whose brick-faced walls and domed roof were modelled on Tokyo Station. The original west exit was joined by an east-side pedestrian bridge over National Route 3, paid for in full by neighbouring Ogōri City. Automatic ticket gates were installed on 20 September 2000, and SUGOCA service began on 1 March 2009. Platforms were extended in March 2013 to handle nine-car trains, and the station became unstaffed on 12 March 2022.

Notes
The station building deliberately echoes Tokyo Station, with brick-look walls and a domed roof; despite being in Saga, its east entrance was financed entirely by neighbouring Ogōri City in Fukuoka.
